The new studio is taking shape – finally. I’m getting ready for the KC Artist Coalition’s Open Studios in October. There are a lot of artists exhibiting this fall so it should be another successful event.

Stay tuned for updates.
The Plaza Art Fair was an unbelievable success; I want to thank everyone who helped me out during that weekend – we had a great time. It was a three-day holiday with of lots of people, food, and great art. We were busy constantly and sold out all of three pieces. Needless to say, I was thrilled with the response my art received.
Over the winter I moved out of my old basement studio and into new space at the Livestock Exchange. Built in 1909 and completed in 1911, the Livestock Exchange is located in the West Bottoms and was the headquarters of the old Kansas City Stockyards; it was renovated a while back. Privately owned, it’s now on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. This is a wonderful building with a variety of businesses, other artists, even restaurants. Attached are a couple of photos. I’ll be adding more for I’m in the process of cleaning up the space.
