I’m very excited that I’ll be in Kansas City’s Plaza Art Fair, September 19, 20, 21, 2008. I will have some new pieces to exhibit so plan to stop by. When I get my booth assignment I’ll post it to the site.

Open Studios was a success. I enjoyed meeting a lot of new people and friends who stopped by to see my new pieces. Thank you for making this show so enjoyable.

Coming event:
I’ve been working on a lot of new paintings this winter. Leawood Fine Art & Gallery is sponsoring a show at the Town & Country Bank on Friday, June 6. I was showing with another artist who has some wonderful pastels…Chris Jackman. Thank you to all my supporters who came to the opening.

The last two years have been busy, but I’m gearing up for an eventful fall. I’ve been experimenting with different mediums and styles and, as a result, the Open Studios venue will host my latest pieces. For those who love the “Iron Deposits on Stones” and the “Koi” — I am still creating the subjects I love, however it’s just fun to try new things.

Exciting news – Leawood Fine Art Gallery has taken on a few of my pieces. The Gallery is beautiful and has a variety of wonderful works by a variety of artists. I feel privileged to be part of their current collection. If you have a chance stop by and check out their gallery.

“Art at Work” included me in their “Meet the Artist” event at Vintners Cellar, 13011 State Line Road, Kansas City, Mo. on July 18 2007. Our host was most gracious and patrons were able to purchase wine with their favorite artist art work on the label - how cool was that! i was so surprised by all who turned out for the event… I’m still not sure if it was the wine or the art - regardless it was a great evening. If you have a chance stop by for the work will be up till the middle of August.

It’s Open Studios time again and I hope you all will stop by to visit me. I’ll be at the Arts Incubator again, second

Thanks to all who stopped in for Open Studios, it was a pleasure to see so many friends and supporters. Showing at
the Incubator was great fun, and I enjoyed meeting so many talented artists and people who support the arts in Kansas City. Thanks for making Open Studios 2004 a success!

The rest of the year I will be busy finishing pieces and starting some new ones.  I have some new directions to travel in, and i’m very excited to begin.  I’ll post the new work as I finish it.
